Born in Windsor, Ontario, I have an M.A. in English Language and Literature from McGill University in Montreal. I am the editor of a weekly newspaper and have published poetry in several journals and magazines in the U.S. and England. My first collection of poetry will be published by Mansfield Press (Toronto) in Fall 2009.

Who would have thought that our current climate of corporatocracy would have our jack-booted "finest" guarding PizzaPizza, food so awful it would likely be illegal in most first world countries.
I hear you. I wouldn't eat Pizza Pizza with somebody else's mouth. Their orange wall diagonally checkered, however...
I remember during the OAS summit in Windsor in 2000, seeing a vanguard of more than two dozen police officers standing in front of the Bank of Montreal on Ouellette Avenue on a Sunday evening. I banked with B of M at the time, but was still appalled by the show of force outside a place of business that contained a vault that Zeus himself couldn't blow open with a Mexican Village fart.
Priorities, man, priorities.
