Driving home this evening, I spotted this shaft of light and this church across the river in Detroit. I saw Fugazi, Jawbox and Nation of Ulysses play in this church in 1990. I wrote most of this poem in the parking lot beneath the Ambassador Bridge, just after taking the picture.

Oh, The Dramatic Things They're Doing With Butter...

I was going to put up some more train graffiti, but got bored photoshopping the shots. So, I went searching through various folders and found this forgotten shot of the butter at the head table at my sister-in-law's wedding in August. I would like to get the foodie tool that does this to butter and use it on everything: ice cream, peanut butter, oatmeal, hummus, pate.
