This shot was originally to serve as a navigational element to a web site I never got off the ground. glasspoeme was to be part of the web site. Anyway, it is a shot of some of my favourite literary works. Included in there is my Penguin Twentieth Century Classics edition of Thomas Pynchon's Gravity's Rainbow. Word broke last week that Pynchon's latest novel, a characteristically voluminous tome called Against the Day will arrive on shelves Dec. 5, 2006. Only nine years between novels? He must be getting impatient in his senior years.
