Red Eye, with Lens Flare

Pentax K1000
Fuji NPH 400
From the Back Catalogue: Father's Day, 2004. My good friend Jeff, author of the "Rollie Fingers" guest photo from the March archive, manning the barbecue. That is the meanest lens flare I've ever been able to catch. The K1000 is particularly good at it. I didn't realize just how spectrally hot it was until I ran it through Photoshop and punched up the colours. Lots of noise in this photo, too, which I like. Achieved by shooting at 200 with the Fuji NPH 400 film. There's almost a fabric-like quality to it
